Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor seeking an experienced HD Fleet Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and related systems. The role requires independent work, attention to safety, and the ability to document maintenance activities accurately.

You will perform preventative maintenance, handle after-hours repairs when needed, and collaborate with operations to keep the fleet ready.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience working on medium-duty and heavy-duty truck fleets.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• PTO, tanker, hydraulic, and fuel system experience preferred.
• PACCAR Davie4 and/or Cummins INSITE experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is a plus.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, pumps, PTO systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air brake systems, steering and suspension systems, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures efficiently and accurately.
• Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and inspection records properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work closely with operations and leadership to minimize downtime and maintain fleet readiness.
• Perform after-hours or emergency repairs when necessary.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT-related requirements.
