• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, diesel engine technology and engine control units.
• Experience with engine instrumentation, data acquisition, signal processing and data management.
• Excellent project management, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and perform diesel engine development, calibration and engineering support in a dynamometer test cell, HiL/MiL and field as needed.
• Develop engineering solutions considering reliability, emissions, costs and customer requirements.
• Coordinate commissioning and testing of prototype engines and early production units with customers and subcontractors.
• Provide field support, troubleshoot field failures and support production staff when needed.
• Read and interpret controller wiring diagrams, build harnesses and perform CAN-Bus troubleshooting.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and maintain safety and compliance.
