Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on heavy‑duty and light‑duty trucks, including CNG systems.

You will use vehicle computer systems and Factory Service Manuals, perform safety checks, complete DVIRs, and help mentor assistants while upholding OSHA standards and a high ethic of dependability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension, brake, electrical and hydraulic inspections/repairs.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and service manuals.
• Ability to estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Mentor assistants and shop helpers.
• CDL Class B preferred within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems and repair trucks to maximize safe operations.
• Communicate issues with managers/drivers and discuss preventive techniques.
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
• Use vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles/equipment.
• Perform repairs using Factory Service Manuals.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and dependability.
