Job summary

Resource Label Group in Commack, NY is seeking a Senior Die Cutter to operate and maintain die-cutting machines, cut and shape materials, and mentor trainees to ensure quality results and on-time production. The role reports to the Production Manager and collaborates with production and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of die-cutting experience in printing or manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to train apprentices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training in printing or machinery operation is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Die Cutter in a printing environment or similar manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die-cutting machines to cut and shape materials like paper, cardboard, and plastic according to specifications.
• Set up embossing and inline embossing jobs.
• Assist other pressmen with problems or difficult jobs.
