Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Senior Die Cast Changeover Technician for the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will lead complete die changes, set machine process parameters, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems on high-pressure cold-chamber die casting equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on changeover experience, a safety-first approach, and the ability to read detailed setup sheets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years at each previous employer required.
• Hands-on setup or changeover experience in high-pressure aluminum die casting or related manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and ability to read complex setup sheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting equipment.
• Set and tune critical process parameters including temperatures, pressures, shot speeds, and cycle timing.
• Install dies, trim tools, shot-end components, and related tooling using cranes and lifting equipment.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
• Inspect hydraulic, cooling, and lubrication systems before production sign-off.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production for first-piece inspections and approvals.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and crane safety procedures during setups and teardowns.
