Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Die Cast Changeover Technician for the 2nd shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will lead complete die changes, set machine parameters, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems on cold-chamber equipment in a high-volume factory environment.

Requires hands-on die cast experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to work within a 45-minute commute. Eligible for top-tier hourly pay, full benefits, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Hands-on die cast setup or changeover experience in high-pressure aluminum systems.
• Ability to read complex setup sheets and follow procedures precisely.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups on high-pressure aluminum machines.
• Set and refine melt temperatures, pressures, and cycle timings.
• Rig, align, and install dies and tooling using cranes and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects to improve cycle times.
• Ensure safety standards and LOTO compliance during all tasks.
• Coordinate with QA and production for first-piece inspections.
