Qualifications

• Education/Training: Minimum Requirement: H.S Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: 10-15 Years of Diamond Turning Machining Experience.
• 3+ Years of Programming experience.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Proficient math skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to read optical drawings.
• Analytical troubleshooting/problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop machining processes where necessary.
• Train other technicians.
• Operate and set up diamond turning/grinding machining centers.
• Expand CNC programming and have the ability to create and/or modify CNC programs.
• Operate and understand Optical test equipment such as interferometers and surface profilometers.
