Job summary

Bond Optics in Keene, New Hampshire is seeking experienced diamond turning technicians to operate SPDT machines for infrared and metal optics. You will set up, program, and run these machines, measuring parts with interferometers and profilometers, and correcting processes to meet tight specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of SPDT experience, tool knowledge (Precitech, Moore Nanotechnology), and experience with optical drawings and metrology.

Qualifications

• Three or more years SPDT hands-on experience including machine setup and optical inspection.
• Experience reading interferometer or profilometer results and correcting drift.
• Ability to read ISO 10110/MIL‑PRF‑13830B drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and run SPDT machines to produce infrared and metal optics.
• Measure parts with interferometers and profilometers and adjust processes to tolerance.
• Develop tooling, fixturing, and methods with senior technicians.
• Train newer operators and maintain production records.
• Lead process development for new materials and geometries.
