Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and interest in machining, manufacturing, or skilled trades.
• Ability to learn and follow detailed procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with documentation.
• Willingness to work first shift during training and transition to second shift.

Responsibilities

• Learn diamond turning operations, safety procedures, and optical manufacturing processes.
• Read engineering drawings, specifications, and production documentation.
• Assist with machine setup, part handling, inspection activities, and production support under supervision.
• Develop proficiency with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Transition to second‑shift operations after training and maintain accurate production records.
