Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Sonographer II to perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment and preparing the room for procedures. You will interact with patients and staff to uphold patient safety and care standards.

The role requires ARDMS with RDMS and RVT, BLS certification, and a medical radiography program background, with 1 year of clinical experience. The department offers a broad benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS certification with both RDMS and RVT is required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operates ultrasound equipment, and prepares the room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Assists in collecting data for PI monitors and conducts QC on equipment.
• Clerical duties include receptionist tasks, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning.
