Job summary

Infor seeks a skilled sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound services under supervision, ensuring quality exams and clear reporting to physicians. You will manage equipment operation, patient comfort, and QA responsibilities within a busy imaging lab.

The role requires ARDMS certification in ABD/OB-GYN, CAAHEP-accredited training, and ongoing CME. A strong focus on safety, ethics, and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of formal ultrasound technology training accredited by CAAHEP.
  • Active ARDMS certification in ABD/OB-GYN or registry eligible.
  • Must become registered in at least one specialty within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sonographic equipment independently and communicate results to physicians.
  • Maintain daily lab operations, patient scheduling, QA, and equipment maintenance.
  • Prepare preliminary reports and contact referring physicians or Radiologist as required.
  • Address patient care issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate daily work schedule with leadership to assure workload coverage.
  • Communicate findings clearly to the attending physician and Radiologist.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality diagnostic care.
