Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide accurate, high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARDMS certification, state license, and BLS. Prior imaging experience is preferred, with strong technical and patient-care skills essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent.
• Current state license or registration as required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous ultrasound or hospital imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and protocols.
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and obtain additional images as needed.
• Maintain and operate equipment and report technical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation while following safety and infection prevention standards.
