Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a mid-level cost estimating analyst with 4–7 years of government acquisition experience to support CBP and DHS programs.

You will conduct cost research, develop estimates, and perform life cycle cost analyses using ACEIT, Crystal Ball, and @Risk. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, the ability to work independently or in teams, and the ability to present findings to senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of government acquisition experience and knowledge of Federal contract requirements
• Experience with cost modeling and cost analysis of weapon systems is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, business, or sciences
• Ability to train others including lunch & learns and software demos

Responsibilities

• Perform cost and economic analyses
• Conduct cost research, data collection, parametric cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis
• Develop cost estimating relationships and model development
• Support DHS CBP acquisition programs budgeting and execution
