Job summary

Tecolote Research in Arlington, VA seeks a senior cost estimator to develop Life Cycle Cost Estimates, ICE, and ICA for Navy programs. You will support MDAP milestones and provide economic analyses to senior leaders.

Requires 8+ years of DoD cost estimating experience, a related bachelor’s degree, 24 credit hours of quantitative coursework, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Strong Excel and analytic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of DoD acquisition/cost estimating experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related field required.
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework, including calculus.
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs; MDAP experience preferred.
• Proficiency in cost analysis and independent estimates; strong analytic methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop / conduct Life Cycle Cost Estimates, ICE, and ICA for DON programs.
• Provide ICE development support, CCE development, and analytics for MDAP milestones and reviews.
• Perform economic analyses, data collection, industry analyses, and present findings to senior leaders in the DON.
