Job summary

Amazon seeks a Sr. Risk Manager for DG compliance across air, sea, and ground transport. You will build country-specific hazmat standards, partner with Legal, and drive safety-focused regulatory programs for the GSARC DG Compliance team.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, work onsite, and travel internationally to ensure safe, compliant shipments and strong executive stakeholder engagement across multiple Regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience communicating with executive leaders.
• IMDG, 49CFR, ICAO/IATA or region-specific accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Create DG enablement roadmaps and requirements for new product launches.
• Maintain industry knowledge to advise leadership on regulatory trends.
• Conduct regulatory assessments across multiple countries for DG transport.
• Develop procedures for safe and compliant transport of DG.
• Create training materials for operations teams.
• Define DG performance frameworks and dashboards.
• Conduct site-specific assessments as needed.
• Support launch readiness and post-launch compliance audits.
