Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Risk Manager with DG experience across air, ground, and ocean freight lanes to establish regulatory frameworks and operational controls for safe shipments.

The role requires coordinating country-specific compliance standards, implementing training, and working with Legal and regulators to protect customers, partners, and associates across the GSARC DG Compliance program. Onsite with international travel expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience communicating with executive leaders.
• Knowledge of IMDG, 49CFR, ICAO/IATA or region-specific accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Create DG enablement roadmaps and requirements across transportation modes with partners
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory trends affecting transportation strategy
• Partner with Legal to assess international DG regulations and hazmat docs
• Develop operating procedures for safe, compliant DG transport
• Create training materials for operations across modes
• Define DG performance frameworks and dashboards
• Perform site assessments across facility types
• Support launch readiness and post-launch compliance audits
