Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Risk Manager with DG experience to establish regulatory frameworks and operational controls for DG shipments across air, ground, and sea freight lanes. The role requires developing country-specific compliance standards in the United States, European Union, United Kingdom, and Japan, implementing technology controls, coordinating carrier protocols, and deploying training programs.

The successful candidate will work with regulators and business partners to promote safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience communicating with executive leaders.
• IMDG, 49CFR, ICAO/IATA or region-specific accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain DG enablement roadmaps and business requirements for new launches across transport modes.
• Advise leadership on emerging regulatory trends affecting multi-modal transportation.
• Lead regulatory assessments across countries and document hazmat requirements and standards.
• Develop operational procedures for safe, compliant DG transport.
• Create training materials for operations teams across modes.
• Define DG performance metrics and dashboards for multi-modal transport.
• Conduct site assessments as needed and support post-launch compliance auditing.
