Job summary

Amazon seeks a Sr. Risk Manager for its Global Solutions for Analytics, Risk, & Compliance (GSARC) DG program. The role leads regulatory standards for dangerous goods across air, ground, and ocean transport, coordinating with regulators and partners to ensure safe shipments and compliant operations.

The candidate will build country-specific hazmat standards, develop training programs, and drive governance with senior leadership across the globe. International travel and onsite work are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Experience communicating with executive leaders
• IMDG, 49CFR, ICAO/IATA or region-specific accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

• Create DG enablement roadmaps and business requirements for new product launches across transportation modes
• Advise senior leadership on industry trends and regulatory requirements across countries
• Conduct regulatory assessments with Legal on international DG transportation and country-specific hazmat rules
• Develop operational procedures for safe and compliant DG transport
• Create training materials for operations teams across modes
• Define DG performance frameworks and dashboards for multi-modal transport
• Perform site-specific assessments as needed across facility types
• Support launch readiness and post-launch compliance auditing
