Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Design for Manufacturing Engineer to shape the manufacturing readiness of next-generation automotive electronics, including high-performance computers and domain controllers. You will connect product development with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are manufacturable, assemblable, testable, scalable and cost-effective.

Your role spans architecture to mass production, driving DFM/DFT activities, quality controls and lifecycle improvements across EMS and Tier-1

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline.
8+ years in automotive electronics development, manufacturing engineering, industrialization or supplier manufacturing engineering.
Experience launching complex electronic products through prototype, pilot, ramp-up and mass production.

Responsibilities

Lead DFM, DFA and DFT activities from architecture through validation and mass production.
Perform manufacturability reviews of schematics, PCB layouts, components, thermal interfaces and enclosures.
Define and maintain manufacturing design rules, checklists and gate deliverables.
Collaborate with hardware, PCB, software, test, validation and supply chain teams.
