Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer within the Hardware Electronics (HWE) group in Auburn Hills, MI. You will lead the end-to-end development, launch, and production of ZCU/BMS hardware for automotive systems, coordinating with project management, hardware design, SW, DV/PV, and EMS suppliers.

Responsibilities include defining HSIS, PF specs, and functional safety, while exploring scalable architectures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in electrical engineering or similar field.
8+ years of electronics design experience.
Experience with schematic capture and HSIS.
Experience with automotive hardware development and validation.
Knowledge of analog/digital design and power management.
Experience with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262).
Hands-on hardware testing with lab instruments.

Responsibilities

Steer development, launch and production of ZCU/BMS hardware.
Design and specify ZCU/BMS boards for automotive systems.
Capture requirements and deliverables including PF, HSIS, and functional safety.
Explore scalable architecture and next-gen hardware platforms.
Ensure safety, performance, and schedule requirements for hardware.
Support HW validation with DV/PV teams and EMS suppliers.
Provide technical guidance and establish quality benchmarks.
