Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is looking for an Assigned Support Engineer to be a trusted technical advisor for our largest self-managed and dedicated customers, helping them avoid disruptions and optimize their DevSecOps workflows. You’ll combine deep Linux expertise with CI/CD knowledge to understand environments, prevent issues, and solve complex technical and business challenges.

Qualifications

• Background in managing complex, customer-facing support cases end to end.
• Advanced troubleshooting with multi-layered technical issues.
• Strong Linux systems administration knowledge and debugging skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and how outages affect customers.
• Ability to write clear, reusable support content.
• Proficient scripting and understanding of MVC frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to major customers, ensuring stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues using Zendesk, logs, and Linux tools.
• Build proactive relationships with customer stakeholders and address blockers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive bug fixes and roadmap influence.
• Advise customers on incidents and service interruptions and mitigation.
• Create and improve support content and runbooks.
• Partner with team members through pairing sessions and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to hiring processes and interviews.
