Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Assigned Support Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for our self-managed, dedicated, and enterprise customers, blending deep Linux expertise with CI/CD know-how to minimize disruptions and maximize system reliability.

In a fully distributed team, you’ll diagnose complex issues, collaborate with Product, Development, Infrastructure, and Customer Success to resolve blockers, write clear runbooks, and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex, customer-facing support cases end to end.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting across applications and infrastructure.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Ability to write reusable knowledge content.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to our largest Self-managed, Dedicated, and enterprise customers, ensuring stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, sensitive issues using Zendesk, logs, and Linux utilities like strace.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders to address blockers.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales to drive fixes and roadmap.
• Advise customers on CI/CD incidents and how outages impact workflows.
