Job summary

Propio Language Services, a provider of interpretation, translation, and localization, seeks a Senior Security Engineer to join the Information Security team in Overland Park. You will lead cybersecurity risk mitigation and protect Propio's infrastructure, applying DevSecOps practices.

In this role you will evaluate cloud security tools (AWS), automate controls, support compliance, and drive incident response with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IT or information security, including admin, analysis, or engineering roles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information assurance preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, GIAC, CISSP, or CCSP desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall Solutions, and Vulnerability scanners.
• HIPAA security requirements experience.
• Ability to mentor others and lead technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and implementation of new cloud security tools for secure AWS architecture.
• Develop and automate cloud security controls to identify threats.
• Support evidence collection from cloud controls for compliance.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with other departments and research as needed.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code with engineers.
• Ensure security is integrated into software development via SAST/DAST/SCA.
• Drive incident response analyses, triage, and stakeholder communication.
