Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Information Security team. You will drive cloud security, application security, and incident response initiatives, with a strong emphasis on DevSecOps and automation in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead the evaluation of security tools, coordinate remediation with engineering teams, and ensure compliance through threat modeling and vulnerability management across Propio’s AWS-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 12+ years IT and/or information security experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with HIPAA-specific security requirements is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security methodologies, processes, and technical solutions (SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls).
• Ability to lead others and mentor less experienced staff.
• Experience with DevSecOps in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and implementation of cloud security tools and processes, with an emphasis on AWS.
• Develop and automate cloud security controls to identify and mitigate threats.
• Support evidence collection for compliance and remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security logs from multiple controls to detect threats and determine impact.
• Provide escalated incident response support and coordinate with IT teams during remediation.
