Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation seeks a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to embed security into every stage of software delivery. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, build secure cloud infrastructure, and raise the security and reliability bar across the engineering org.

You will lead threat modeling, automate IaC with policy enforcement, and mentor teams on secure coding practices, while supporting multi-region, PCI/DSS-aligned environments.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years in DevOps/platform engineering/security engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in DevSecOps or security in production environments.
• Experience embedding security tooling into delivery pipelines.
• Strong cloud engineering with IAM, networking, encryption, logging and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure CI/CD pipelines with SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning.
• Harden and automate AWS and/or Azure infra using IaC with policy enforcement.
• Own container security across Docker/Kubernetes, including image provenance and runtime protection.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews with product engineering early.
• Manage cloud networking, VPC/VNet, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and operational security practices.
