Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to sit onsite at Wright-Patterson AFB. You will establish and mature the deployment strategy as the program transitions from AFRL into a DoD environment, designing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted development environments.

You will collaborate with developers, government stakeholders, AFRL contributors, and leadership to maintain compliant deployment processes and enable ongoing development and delivery across secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps experience; 5+ years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and designing deployment strategies.
• Experience with Azure, Azure Government, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, containers, or similar DevOps tooling.
• Ability to obtain a clearance and experience supporting IL5/IL6/SAP/TS/SCI environments.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53 controls.
• Experience with security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment architectures.
• Manage repository strategies and cloud-hosted development environments.
• Collaborate with software developers, government stakeholders, AFRL contributors, and program leadership to ensure DoD cybersecurity compliance.
• Move software from unclassified CUI environments into higher classification environments while supporting continuous development and delivery practices.
