Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a PaaS environment across AWS GovCloud and hybrid clouds. You will work with Navy users and developers to ensure security, stability, and speed for containerized apps.

The role requires active security clearance, 5+ years in DoD/regulatory environments, and hands-on Kubernetes administration. Remote (US-based) with some travel; salary targets reflect seniority and government-focused projects.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher required.
• 5+ years of DoD/federal or regulated environment experience.
• Experience deploying cloud infrastructure with AWS GovCloud and hybrid environments.
• CKAD/CKA or equivalent Kubernetes certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Migrate legacy repos/workflows from Bitbucket to GitLab.
• Provision infrastructure across AWS GovCloud, edge, and Navy networks using Terraform/Ansible.
• Lead containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for mission-critical apps.
• Implement automated security scanning and ATO support within pipelines.
• Establish monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Grafana.
