Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior-level DevSecOps Engineer to support federal programs hosted on AWS GovCloud. The role emphasizes security, automation, and scalable infrastructure across CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.

Ideal candidates have US citizenship, DoD readiness, and 7+ years in DevSecOps or cloud engineering, with strong IaC and container orchestration expertise in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Security+ and AWS Certified Security or equivalent credentials.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS GovCloud services, security configurations, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate).
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-171/53, STIGs, Zero Trust).
• Experience implementing automated security testing (SAST/DAST, SBOM).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for a DevSecOps team of ~5 engineers.
• Design, build, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Lead incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident root cause analysis.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS GovCloud environments for DoD/Civilian apps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to embed security into SDLC.
