Job summary

GovCIO seeks a SME - Network/Systems Engineer in Quantico, VA to design, build, and maintain an on-prem DevSecOps pipeline and scalable network architecture for NCIS. This onsite role requires strong Linux/Windows administration, CI/CD, and security-focused practices.

Responsibilities include translating strategy into network specifications, integrating components, and verifying performance while supporting business development and requirements shaping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong background in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Ansible/Jenkins).
• DevSecOps practices familiarity and accreditation.
• Experience with DoN networks or equivalent DoD networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information about capabilities of company products and investigates technical capabilities of products and competitors.
• Translates high level product strategies into network and system requirement specifications.
• Establishes standards, practices, and procedures for network and system development.
• Designs interfaces and integrates network elements to work as a cohesive system.
• Monitors performance and tunes systems to meet contractual objectives.
• Supports business development activities and shapes requirements.
