Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior SecDevOps & Systems Engineer to unify secure DevOps, systems engineering, and full-stack development. You will lead design, integration, and secure delivery of complex systems across infrastructure, pipelines, and applications.

The role requires deep expertise in DevOps, security, automation, and cloud platforms. Hybrid-remote with 2 days on-site per week in Sterling, VA; prior Federal sector or DHS-level clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience spanning DevOps, security, and software development.
Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST/DAST/SCA).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Full-stack development capability with modern front-end and back-end frameworks; RESTful APIs.
Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud security controls.

Responsibilities

Lead design and integration of end-to-end systems spanning infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
Architect secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded security testing and policy enforcement.
Develop and maintain full-stack applications and APIs.
Mentor junior engineers and drive SecDevOps culture across teams.
Ensure compliance, security baselines, and high availability of systems.
