Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure pipelines for classified environments. You will integrate security throughout the SDLC, working with customers and internal teams to deliver resilient, compliant software systems.

You will lead CI/CD development in GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins, ensure STIG compliance, and build IaC using CloudFormation and Terraform across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
• 10+ years in DevSecOps across the SDLC with infrastructure automation.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps across multiple classified domains.
• Strong CI/CD, containerization, automation tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker).
• IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Ansible; Python/Bash scripting.
• AWS-based secure cloud architecture knowledge; GovCloud experience a plus.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II cert (Security+) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure pipelines across multiple classification environments.
• Lead automation and security scanning with STIG compliance.
• Create IaC templates to build secure DevSecOps tool infrastructure across AWS GovCloud, C2S, TC2S.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding, CI/CD, and compliance practices.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide mitigation for service degradation.
• Document best practices and support continuous team improvement.
