Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer 4 to design and operate a reliable, scalable platform that orchestrates microservices in a modernized system. You will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD with GitLab and Argo CD, and maintain AWS-based services in a primarily on-site SCIF environment.

The role requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, a related bachelor’s degree or higher, and extensive experience in IaC, automation, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and CI Polygraph within 7 years.
• 12+ years of professional experience, or 10+ years with a related Master’s.
• Security+ CE certification is required.
• Experience with IaC, automation, and scripting.
• On-site work in a SCIF environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks and provision services.
• Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems.
• Install and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud logging/metrics tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Manage AWS cloud environments and related networking.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders; work on-site in SCIF.
