Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for classified mission environments. You will integrate security throughout the development lifecycle and collaborate with customers, development teams, and internal operations to deliver reliable software.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI poly, 10+ years in DevSecOps, strong cloud and IaC skills, and hands-on guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience in DevSecOps or similar LM role across the SDLC.
• Experience delivering DevSecOps services across multiple classified domains.
• Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Ansible.
• Scripting in Python and Bash on Linux environments (RHEL/Oracle Linux).
• AWS experience including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS; secure cloud architecture.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II cert (Security+, GSEC, SSCP).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design automated solutions across classification environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines from scratch in GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG validation.
• Provide guidance on pipeline troubleshooting and DevSecOps best practices.
• Create Infrastructure as Code templates using CloudFormation to deploy secure AWS-based tool infra across GovCloud, C2S, TC2S.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain documentation and promote best practices for continuous improvement.
