Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps professional to advance secure, automated deployments across enterprise environments in the Reston area. You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Linux systems, and drive automation using Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.

The role requires strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Perl, Korn shell) and hands-on experience with Git/GitLab, with a focus on SDLC and deployment excellence. Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevSecOps experience.
• Extensive Linux system engineering in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Ansible and Red Hat Satellite experience.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps.
• Linux system engineering, and automation within enterprise environments, with strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SE Linux‑based systems.
• Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining automated deployment solutions using tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages including Python, Bash, Perl, or Korn shell.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git or GitLab, as well as the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance existing DevOps frameworks.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, testing, and deployment, is required.
• Security+ certification, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with SE Linux configuration and policy management, as well as familiarity with High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
• Experience with distributed file systems such as Lustre and NFS, and knowledge of high‑speed interconnects including InfiniBand or Omni‑Path (e.g., RDMA, IPoIB, fabric monitoring) are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with identity management systems such as LDAP and token‑based authentication, as well as experience integrating automation into complex, multi‑level secure environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities, adaptability in agile environments, and the ability to optimize and scale automated deployment processes across enterprise systems.
