Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer III to design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments for space systems. You will work across on-prem and air-gapped environments, implementing secure IaC with Terraform/Ansible and advancing observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

The role emphasizes security throughout the SDLC, cloud proficiency (AWS/GCP/Azure), and collaboration with development teams to ensure reproducible, high-quality software

Qualificações

• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
• Ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Security Plus or IAT2 certification.
• Proven experience as a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Windows and Linux software development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience deploying and configuring GitLab and Artifactory.
