Job summary

SAIC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security into the software development and delivery lifecycle. You will design, implement, and operate secure CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation to enable rapid, safe software delivery.

The role requires hands-on engineering with strong application and cloud security knowledge and close collaboration with software engineers, platform teams, and cybersecurity specialists.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of application and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Embed automated security testing into the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using IaC tools.
• Implement security controls across cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, and APIs.
• Establish policy-as-code, secure configuration standards, and deployment guardrails.
• Monitor security events and support incident investigation and remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve secure coding practices.
