Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps (DSO) Engineer with a cybersecurity focus to support a DoD client in deployment and hardening of a cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes building, managing, and scaling security-focused CI/CD pipelines and cloud services.

This hybrid position requires on-site presence at the Rosslyn, VA facility, with planned move to Crystal City, and collaboration across software engineers, IT operations, and information security to automate deployments and improve

Qualifications

• Experience deploying secure cloud-based environments.
• Ability to automate CI/CD pipelines and manage tooling.
• Collaborate with development and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible
• Deployment and maintenance of cybersecurity tools and applications
• Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, collaborate with other DSOs to create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for cybersecurity applications
• Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. Support full automation of CI/CD testing
• Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers
• Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
• Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate and increase cyber posture
