Job summary

Prime Solutions Group in Goodyear, Arizona, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and secure AWS cloud environments for mission-critical programs. You will collaborate with software, systems, and security teams to drive CI/CD and security practices across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has extensive automation, cloud security, and leadership experience in Agile settings, mentoring junior engineers and guiding technical strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and supporting secure AWS cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
• Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
• Strong scripting or programming experience using Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure and cloud-native solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, security scanning, and deployments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using ECS and EKS.
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to integrate security and automation.
