Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States, with residency in the U.S. for the last five years.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 6 years in DevSecOps in AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation).
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub or similar).
• Experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure, including security, monitoring and automation.
• Expertise in integrating security controls, testing, vulnerability management and compliance.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and manage DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using open-source and COTS solutions.
• Establish, maintain, and improve DevSecOps processes including IaC, test automation, CI/CD, and configuration management.
• Design and support infrastructure enabling Test-Driven Development and automated testing practices.
• Provide operational support for AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Offer security engineering guidance to development and operations teams.
• Implement security controls, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead security reviews, vulnerability assessments, scans, and penetration testing activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Manage priorities and deliver independently with minimal supervision.
• Act as trusted advisor for DevSecOps automation and tooling and promote best practices.
