Job summary

PhoenixTeam is seeking an AWS DevSecOps Engineer to build, secure, and operate the AWS environments and automated delivery pipelines for internal and client applications. This hands-on role covers infrastructure as code, container deployment, CI/CD, security gates, and reliable release delivery across multi-account setups.

You will design AI-assisted workflows, enforce least-privilege access, and participate in on-call and post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps with production responsibility.
• Strong AWS production experience: VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, RDS, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
• Experience deploying containerized workloads with Docker and IaC tools.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines as code with automated testing and security gates.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go and validating generated code.
• Understanding of least-privilege access, encryption, and security controls (NIST SP 800-53 or similar).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AWS infrastructure using IaC and managed services.
• Own build, test, approval, and deployment pipelines as code.
• Embed SAST, DAST, SCA, and IaC security checks into release workflows.
• Apply least-privilege and secure credential handling in automation.
• Design and verify AI-assisted engineering workflows and runbooks.
• Support blue/green or canary deployments and incident recovery.
• Implement logs, metrics, tracing, and on-call incident response.
