Job summary

Raft is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help build a real-time data platform for the DoD, handling over a billion events daily with millisecond latency. You will design and manage end-to-end cluster lifecycles, deploy Kubernetes and Docker solutions, and implement CI/CD and GitOps in both cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 3+ years' experience with Docker and Kubernetes, provisioning production clusters and maintaining their compliance.
• Experience with building and managing data-intensive platforms using streaming technologies (Kafka, Pinot, Flink).
• Experience with AWS and other cloud computing solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and orchestration.
• Experience with Kubernetes monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana; Fluentbit, Kibana, Loki).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles.
• Work with clients to architect, develop and implement Kubernetes or Docker solutions in Cloud and on-premises.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement GitOps for Software Delivery.
