Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join the Platform Services team in a hybrid role across multiple U.S. locations. You will develop and deliver DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities while maintaining existing automation and support for unclassified and classified environments.

The role requires a U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. You will leverage your expertise to shape roadmaps and collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with common software development applications such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Coverity.
• Experience with Containers (Docker, Podman, Singularity) and Git.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities.
• Sustain existing capabilities (e.g., create upgrade packages, improve existing automation, etc.)
• Provide support for Unclassified and Classified Environments.
• Leverage technical expertise to provide input on future strategies and roadmaps.
• Assist with maintaining our approved container catalog.
