RTX's Platform Services team is seeking a seasoned engineer to design and deliver DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities. You will work with engineering partners to implement secure pipelines and modern software delivery in both unclassified and classified environments, with a hybrid onsite/offsite schedule.

This role emphasizes sustaining capabilities, contributing to future roadmaps, and maintaining the container catalog while navigating DoD-related requirements and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or Coverity.
• Experience with Containers (Docker, Podman, Singularity, etc.) and Git.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

This role will be a member of the Platform Services team within the Raytheon Digital Technology Organization and will report to the Platform Services Manager. Engineering Digital Solutions supports a portfolio of Engineering Solutions, as well as other various software capabilities. Users of the portfolio are located across the United States, in both Unclassified and Classified Environments. This position is Hybrid where you will work onsite on a regular basis and may require some travel. As a member of the Platform Services team, you will help the Digital Technology Organization to deliver critical capability to Raytheon Engineering, focusing primarily on DevSecOps offerings, with some involvement in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering Environments (DEE) and On Demand Compute (ODC) capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Work with Raytheon Engineering and the Platform Services team to develop and deliver new DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities.

Qualifications You Must Have

• T typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with common software development applications such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Coverity.
• Experience with Containers (Docker, Podman, Singularity, etc.) and Git.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working with DevSecOps environments in a Department of Defense capacity.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with data visualization to support environment monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with end users & customers.

This position is classified as: Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
