Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Sr DevSec Engineer, Cloud Operations to own the SaaS and Hosted infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for enterprise customers worldwide.

The role requires 7+ years in 24x7 production operations, strong GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and scripting, with proactive use of AI/LLM tools. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
7+ years in 24x7 production operations for SaaS/cloud.
Strong GCP, including GKE, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.
Hands-on networking: VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing.
Containerization and image management with Docker.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain resilient, secure, highly available infrastructure on GCP.
Design secure, scalable GCP network architecture (VPC, peering, NAT, DNS).
Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident response using CI/CD and GitOps.
Monitor site stability with GCP observability tools and troubleshoot across stack.
Scale infrastructure using GCP autoscaling and cost-optimization best practices.
Own end-to-end operational responsibility for all customer SaaS/Hosted environments.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services and other departments.
Work with developers to productionize features via containerized Kubernetes deployments.
Develop and improve runbooks and procedures using AI/LLM tools for automation and docs.
Meet security/compliance standards (SOC2 Type 2, ISO-27001, NIST 800-53).
