Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years in application security, product security, software development, or DevSecOps.
• Hands-on coding with TypeScript, Java, Ruby, or Python.
• Strong understanding of attack vectors, secure coding, vulnerabilities, and modern architectures.
• Experience threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps and CI/CD security controls.
• Experience securing AI/ML platforms and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, IaC, security automation, and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with development teams to embed security across design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, secure design reviews for apps, APIs, cloud, and AI‑enabled systems.
• Write and review code to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen secure development practices.
• Develop reusable security patterns, shared services, and automated guardrails for engineering teams.
• Assess and secure AI/ML and LLM solutions, including secure use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines: SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, container and IaC scanning.
• Design security controls for cloud-native apps, containers, Kubernetes, serverless platforms, and IaC deployments.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to remediate risks and promote a security‑first culture.
