Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead security integration across infrastructure, cloud, and software delivery. You will shape scalable, compliant architectures and ensure secure development lifecycles in a regulated healthcare context.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, securing Terraform/CloudFormation pipelines, and mentoring engineers on best practices in secure coding and DevSecOps, while collaborating with Security and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, or security engineering with DevSecOps focus.
• Deep cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience securing containerized and Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on CI/CD with modern tooling.
• IaC pipelines in Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong security knowledge including OWASP Top 10 and secure coding.
• IAM, RBAC, zero-trust models, encryption best practices.
• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI).
• Scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Ruby).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps strategy across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP.
• Establish security patterns and guardrails for engineering teams.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Lead IAM strategy and least-privilege enforcement.
• Maintain Kubernetes resources and environments for internal/external use.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Engineering leadership.
