Job summary

Exiger is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead security automation across the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with Engineering, Cloud, Platform, IT, and Compliance to automate processes, improve vulnerability management, and reduce delivery friction.

The ideal candidate combines DevSecOps maturity with hands-on software development, in regulated, cloud-based environments. You will drive secure engineering practices and mentor engineers on security automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevSecOps, security engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on security automation across tools, tickets, CI/CD.
• Strong coding/scripting in Python and shell languages.
• Experience with cloud security, IaC, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated security workflows across the SDLC.
• Automate vulnerability intake, ticketing, enrichment, and remediation tracking.
• Integrate security platforms with CI/CD, cloud, and engineering systems.
• Embed security testing (SAST/DAST) into pipelines and define guardrails.
