Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join its Engineering organization. You will define DevSecOps strategy, elevate cloud security posture, and partner across teams to ensure secure, scalable, compliant systems nationwide.

This hands-on role requires leadership in regulated healthcare environments, architecture at scale, and mentoring on secure coding and DevSecOps practices. Competitive benefits accompany the salary range.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software or security engineering with DevSecOps focus.
• Deep cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or GCP).
• Hands-on with containerized/Kubernetes environments.
• CI/CD systems expertise (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• IaC pipelines security in Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevSecOps vision across infra, apps, and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP across environments.
• Set security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design, maintain and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Drive IaC security and automated governance controls.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Maintain Kubernetes resources for internal/external use.
• Lead IAM strategy and least-privilege enforcement.
• Advance container security posture and secrets management.
• Ensure HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST PCI alignment with security program.
