Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD practices. You will embed security into the engineering lifecycle, mentor teams, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a secure, scalable platform as we expand nationwide.

You will define security strategy for AWS/GCP, automate governance, and drive zero-trust initiatives while aligning with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software/infrastructure/security engineering with DevSecOps focus.
• Deep cloud experience in AWS and/or GCP.
• Containerized and Kubernetes environments, secure by design.
• IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation) and secure pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of application security and OWASP Top 10.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems on AWS/GCP.
• Establish security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated governance.
• Enforce network segmentation, zero-trust, and environment isolation.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance on risk.
• Support HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST frameworks and security program maturation.
