Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Software Engineer-DevSecOps to support cybersecurity programs in San Antonio. The role focuses on developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for mission applications, automating security controls, and advancing automation aligned with government roadmaps.

The candidate will architect and enhance CI/CD tooling across value streams, implement IaC/CaC with Packer, Terraform, and Ansible, and collaborate with ISSEs and stakeholders to sustain ATO/cATO readiness while maintaining

Qualifications

• Clear understanding of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large enterprises.
• Develop IaC/CaC with Packer, Terraform, Ansible; Kubernetes, Docker, Helm experience.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure); Linux scripting (Bash, Python).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) for numerous applications.
• Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications; manage source control and build/release tooling.
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Automate security controls, validation, and evidence collection supporting RMF, ATO, and cATO.
• Integrate and tune pipeline security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, secrets).
• Support security-impact assessments and control validation for value streams.
• Collaborate with ISSEs, developers, Value Stream engineers, and government stakeholders.
• Architect logging/monitoring/telemetry for continuous monitoring.
• Maintain security-first mindset and Zero Trust / secure software supply chain practices.
• Develop automated security policies in CI/CD to flag End-of-Life images and remediate vulnerabilities.
